Not all Mindfulness courses are of the same standard and quality. Leadership and research in the UK has largely come from the Universities of Bangor, Exeter and Oxford. All teaching within Mindfulnessmk is under the direct supervision of Helen Stephenson who also provides the majority of input for all the sessions.
This course is open to all and is taught over eight weekly sessions on a Monday evening or Friday morning. Each session comprises of at least one guided practice, time to reflect and a summary of what was learnt. Between the weekly sessions participants are invited to practice at home, using the course text book and accompanying CD. This will reinforce the learning and will enable you to make mindfulness part of your daily life.
The group is deliberately kept small and rarely exceeds twelve participants.
