As children we moved with ease, confidence and power, but as adults we mostly live at odds with our bodies. We either neglect or ignore them or we treat them like objects that need to be stretched, fixed, or worked out. But we hardly understand how to live in our bodies and how to move to create comfort and well-being.

Movement practiced with care and attention is an excellent way to practice Mindfulness through body awareness and to learn patience as we acknowledge our limitations and calmly progress towards physical and mental improvement.

In previous years Helen has presented sessions at Bangor University Conference, reflecting her particular skill in understanding the significance of mindfulness used in conjunction with yoga and Pilates. These are areas in which she has spent her lifetime gaining experience and broad based knowledge.
