A city retreat can really teach us something about joy and tranquility in the midst of all the challenges of life.

It can teach us to go in and out of silence, switching between being active and being receptive, being oriented inwardly but also outwardly – without losing contact with ourselves.

We learn to be present with ease and joy, in the middle of a lovely community where there is room for everyone.
